About Carlisle

The town of Carlisle was first settled in 1651 by English colonialist and was incorporated as a town in 1805. Today it boasts a population of approximately 5,200 residents. Located only 19 miles northwest of Boston, Carlisle is 15.6 square miles and is surrounded by the towns of Acton, Bedford, Billerica, Chelmsford, Concord, and Westford.

Great Brook Farm State Park offers an abundance of outdoor activities for all ages. The park is a real working farm with the areas state of the art “smart” barn. Sited on approximately 1,000 acres, there are more than 20 miles of trails available for your outdoors activities such as walking, hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding. In the winter, cross-country skiing is an option.

Other activities such as golf, canoeing, and fishing are available in neighboring towns.

Garrison Place is just minutes to all that Concord Centre has to offer. Unique shops, restaurants, and historic sites.
